01. // About_Me

Hello, I'm Shayan (Mehdi) Taki. Born in 2002/1381, based in Esfahan.

I consider myself an artist. My art is creating images in my mind using code that seems incomprehensible. I discovered myself very early. I wasn't one of those people who said "okay, programming is profitable, let me become a programmer." Since childhood, I've been building my own world - a world that encompasses all of me.

I didn't have a computer system. I built my first program with a mobile app builder (an Android app capable of making simple applications) and submitted it to school. I was a ninth-grader who loved to build programs. Coding is my lifestyle, not just my career.

Passionate full-stack developer and IT specialist with expertise in Java, JavaScript, React.js, Python (Django), and C# MVC. Strong leadership and broad technical expertise make me effective in project management. Proud holder of Harvard CS50x & CS50p certifications.

02. // My_Journey

The Beginning

At age 16, with teenage curiosity, I dove into the world of hacking and penetration testing. I was fascinated by how systems worked and their vulnerabilities. I studied tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Wireshark, learning the art of ethical hacking on Kali Linux.

Then I moved to Joapp (a no-code app building platform) and created several applications, but the software's capabilities didn't fully encompass me. I searched and discovered B4Android. I tried hard to understand how to build Android applications with it, but unfortunately, my brain couldn't comprehend those codes yet.

Web Development Passion

After attending HTML, CSS, and JavaScript classes at Mehregan Institute in Esfahan, I fell in love with building websites. I wanted to build my own website very quickly, but I had a long way to go.

After learning HTML, CSS, and JS, I started learning Python for backend development. I realized that most of the tools I was working with were in Python, and the terminal was also part of working with Python, which I was proficient in. I fell in love with Python and learned it from YouTube with one of the best teachers you can learn Python from - Professor Jadi Mirmirani.

First, I learned the introductory Python course from Jadi. He taught beautifully, and I learned the structure and basis of programming from him. The further I went, the clearer this concept became to me: a good hacker is definitely a good programmer.

University & Django Mastery

A few months before entering university, I knew I had to prepare myself. So I started learning Python with Professor Jadi Mirmirani. That's where I understood the logic of programming - what each part is and how it's visualized in my mind.

In the second semester, I participated in the CS50Iran Python Django course. I completed this course several times, but I couldn't understand it properly, so I watched the course videos again and again. Meanwhile, I obtained CS50x and CS50p certificates from Harvard University online.

I didn't give up. After reviewing and repeating and practicing the course several times, a spark was ignited in my mind, and that's when I understood how to work with the framework. A deep understanding. At that time, I became confident in my abilities and started building this website. I fell in love with Django and practiced it every day.

Kerman Motor Experience

In April 2022, I participated in the CEH course by Professor Jadi Mirmirani on Maktabkhooneh website. Working on networks professionally was very interesting to me, and advanced and academic hacking techniques were even more interesting.

After completing the course, in my first job interview, I appeared at Kerman Motor Company. In June 2022, during my second semester at university, I was accepted in this interview. Although I was a full-stack Python (Django) developer, my resume test was penetration testing and information gathering in the cybersecurity department.

I received a passing grade in the penetration test at Kerman Motor Company and data collection, and my resume was approved. In July 2022, I started working at Kerman Motor Company as a cybersecurity specialist. My programming activities at the company were more than my cybersecurity activities initially, but these two topics were intertwined later.

I found security vulnerabilities and reported them. At the same time as working at the company, I participated in underground cyber website courses managed by Kourosh Sanaei, which were really top and good courses in this field. I participated in virus writing and penetration testing courses, and I also used Bad USB building courses belonging to dear Reza Mozaffari.

My first project was building artificial intelligence with image recognition capability for the company. Three days later, I connected it to a Telegram bot and presented it. After that, for certain reasons, the company wanted me to master C# and the MVC platform. In one week, I switched from Python to C#, and with the help of one of the really professional employees, I built my first website with C# MVC.

I built several websites with this platform over several months and mastered it. At the same time, I was working on artificial intelligence and its new world with Python. I got involved in a big project - a project where I had to master both MVC, ASP.NET, and PHP, and I had to master working with MySQL and SQL Server databases as well. I was constantly learning and coding, and I had to integrate all of these with the Django framework.

This project made me master these languages and learn these frameworks. This project also caused my network and web server knowledge to increase to a high level. But I loved and still love Python.

In July 2023, after one year of working for a company that always welcomed my ideas and energy in my work, even though I was very satisfied with the managers and employees of this company, I resigned for personal reasons. I am always indebted to the Kerman Motor family and grateful for nurturing me during this year. It was a really beautiful work experience, in one of the best automotive companies.
